Pest Inspections

Our experienced on-staff Pest Inspectors perform an inspection focusing on wood destroying organisms, including termites, carpenter ants, wood boring beetles and wood destroying fungus and rot.

Commercial Inspections

The Inspectors at Eagle Rock Inspections are State certified to perform inspections on all commercial structures up to 10,000 square feet. This includes apartment complexes, motels, office buildings and warehouses.

Heating and Air Conditioning Inspections

Eagle Rock Inspections contracts the services of local heating and cooling contractors for in-depth inspections of HVAC systems. Although the furnace and air conditioner are reviewed in the course of the standard inspection, systems that are aged or unique can be better understood by the contractor, who has specialized knowledge and experience.

Fireplace Inspections

Eagle Rock Inspections contracts the services of local fireplace contractors for in-depth inspections of fireplace/chimney systems. The fireplace inspection is more in depth than the inspection by the home inspector, and is a good idea for any fireplace that has seen use, but has not been recently serviced.

Sewer Line Inspections

Sewer lines between the house and the main can pose problems – especially in older homes – but a standard visual inspection can do little to identify issues unless dramatic blockages occur during the inspection. Sewer line specialists use high-tech cameras to view the actual condition of the line. Repair or replacement of sewer lines can cost thousands of dollars, so we recommend this service before the purchase of any structure that is more than 40 years old, or where any known concerns exist.

Wood and Pellet Stove Certifications

If you are selling or buying a home in Washoe County with a wood or pellet stove, an inspection is required to ensure that it meets the EPA's current clean burning standards. Eagle Rock Inspectors are certified by the Air
Quality Division of the Washoe County Health Department to perform these inspections and provide required information to the AQD for the title documents. Washoe County requires this to prevent the dangerously smoggy winter days that Reno has experienced in the past. This isn't just a good thing to do for the community, it's the law. In Washoe County, escrow cannot close without this being accomplished.

  • We can bill to escrow for a $40 fee.
